I believe in client-centered therapy. I use empathic listening to deepen my understanding of you and your concerns. I know from my own life experiences that having a safe place, and a safe person as a guide, can make a big difference in attaining a new understanding of your patterns of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
I draw upon the blending of the new science of neurobiology and the art of mindful, compassionate collaboration to empower you to achieve more clarity in your choices and decision making process.
My belief in the connection between mind, body and spirit led me to the Transpersonal Psychology program at John F. Kennedy University in Pleasant Hill, CA, one of the few such universities in the country. I have focused on incorporating many somatic, or body oriented, approaches into my work, as these have been shown to be effective in creating lasting change mentally, physically, and emotionally.
The breadth of my professional and personal experience adds to my ability to assist you in your understanding and healing of the complexities of human interactions, loss, and trauma
Allow me to walk with you as a supportive guide on your life journey.
